Students must be currently enrolled in a school in the region, and can only enter FLIP via a referral from their home school. Currently schools in Melton, Wyndham and Ballarat offer FLIP, but you will need to check with your local school if it is available.

The student must be interested in joining the FLIP program and be willing to negotiate your Individual Learning Plan.

Students will need to be in an environment where they are able to work independently from home. This may require some supervision by an adult depending on the students commitment.

Students in FLIP are expected to have reliable wireless internet connectivity in the home, and should be mobile, with the ability to attend regular meetings with the mentor or coordinator at a suitable location, usually at your 'Home School'. It is expected that older students will have a degree of independence from parents, making their own way to and from school where possible.
